I work with The Yard, a farmyard-based creative space in Preston Candover, on an ongoing programme exploring nature, sustainability and art with the local community.

Using the landscape and natural materials as inspiration, I design playful workshops that invite families and children to experiment, make and imagine. Activities have included creating moving “nature bots” filled with found materials to make moving and drawing artworks, inventing weird and wonderful creatures using AI, making cards from pressed natural materials, and creating stop-motion faces and characters.

The partnership is all about celebrating nature through creativity, encouraging people to look more closely, play with ideas and find new ways to connect with the natural world.
