RHS Collaboration
I worked with the RHS Learning and Public Engagement teams as part of a Creative Learning Day exploring how nature, technology and play could inspire new approaches to learning across their gardens.
The day was designed to move beyond traditional, curriculum-led workshop formats and explore more open-ended, child-led ways of learning. Teams experimented with kaleidoscopes, motors, animation and AI, creating ideas such as seed-making machines and playful ways to explore natural life cycles.
Alongside the hands-on making, the session introduced different approaches to creative learning and encouraged teams to think about how factual knowledge, imagination and experimentation can work together.
The collaboration formed part of a wider programme of work to support more consistent, high-quality learning experiences across all five RHS gardens, including the development of shared creative principles and new approaches to workshop design.
